Kirari Moroboshi is a character available in The Idolmaster: Cinderella Girls (stylized as THE iDOLM@STER and abbreviated as IMAS or IM@S) and its spinoff, The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls: Starlight Stage. Cinderella Girls is a sub-series of the original iDOLM@STER arcade game produced by Bandai Namco. Kirari's hyperactive personality and passion for becoming a top idol made her an instant favorite with Cinderella Girls fans. Kirari is voiced by Rei Matsuki in all her appearances, including the anime adaptation of the game.

Kirari Moroboshi is a Passion category idol, adored for her quirky and hyperactive personality. Kirari is the tallest idol in the game, standing at 183cm in her basic card form. At the start of her idol career, Kirari was self-conscious of her height and compensated by starting to wear over-the-top cute clothes. As the game progresses, Kirari's self-confidence also grows, coming to a place where she fully embraces her height. In fact, as her cards are updated in the game, her height grows alongside it. In her SR+ form, Kirari's height towers at an amazing 186cm.
Due to her tall stature, Kirari is often paired with Anzu Futaba, the shortest character from Cinderella Girls. While this unlikely pairing started as a cute in-joke in fan communities, soon the franchise began producing official merchandise of the two characters together. Kirari and Anzu even produced a duet CD together of "Onegai! Cinderella" and are frequently pictured together in the "Onegai! Cinderella!" anniversary PV. Kirari and Anzu's friendship is also extended to the anime adaption of Cinderella Girls where the pair appeared in variety show-styled shorts called "Ankiranking".
One of Kirari's many hobbies is making her own outfits for when she performs as an idol. Kirari's outfits are always extremely colorful and excessively accessorized which perfectly complement her over-the-top personality. Even Kirari's off-stage wardrobe is saccharine sweet! Whether she is wearing casual clothing or yukata, you won't see Kirari without her arsenal of sweet-themed accessories.
