About Eevee

Eevee - The Eeveelution of cuteness

Eevee is a species from Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokemon franchise. Eevee is a small and cute Pokemon with an unstable genetic code that allows it to evolve into eight different Pokemon, which are informally known as its Eeveelutions. Eevee first appeared in the video games Pokemon Red and Blue. It has since been featured in various merchandise items, spin off titles, anime, and printed adaptations of the franchise. The Pokemon Center often releases entire product collections featuring Eevee and its Eeveelutions: Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon and Sylveon.

Pokemon (an abbreviation of Pocket Monsters) was created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1995 and is set in a world filled with fictional creatures which humans, known as Pokemon Trainers, catch and coach to battle for sport. Many extremely successful Pokemon video games, animated television shows, movies, trading card games, and comic books feature Eevee.

Eevee was created by Ken Sugimori and is characterized by its petite size, brown fur, rabbit-like ears, fluffy cream-colored collar, and bushy tail. Much like Pikachu, Eevee has transformed from a rare Pokemon to being more common and easier to catch in the video games due to increasing popularity. Eevee has also come to represent the cute side of the Pokemon franchise, usually appearing as the face of collections centered around pastel colors, flowers, and other feminine themes.

Eevee's most distinguishing feature is its ability to evolve into an exceptional range of eight other Pokemon, known as its Eeveelutions. The first wave of Eeveelutions debuted alongside Eevee in the Generation I and include Vaporeon (Water-type), Jolteon (Electric-type) and Flareon (Fire-type). With Generation II came Espeon (Psychic-type) and Umbreon (Dark-type). Then, Glaceon (Ice-type) and Leafeon (Grass-type) were introduced in Generation IV. The addition of Sylveon (Fairy-type) in Generation VI completed the Eeveelution family. Eevee and its Eeveelutions have attracted fans from around the world with their theme of cute diversity.
