Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya is a manga by Hiroshi Hiroyama, based on the character Illya von Einzbern who first appeared in the Fate series as a character in Type-Moon's visual novel, Fate/stay night. In this iteration of the character, Illya is depicted as an ordinary elementary school student whose life is turned upside down when she becomes a magical girl after an encounter with the magical Kaleidostick named Ruby.

The series takes place in an alternate version Fuyuki city, where the Fate/stay night characters Kiritsugu and Irisviel end the Holy Grail War before it could start, allowing Illya to grow up as a normal girl. Other characters that first appeared in Fate/stay night also make an appearance in Fate/kaleid, including Rin Tohsaka and Shirou Emiya.

While Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya also ran for a single year in Comp Ace, it spawned two sequel manga, Fate/Kaleid liner Prisma Illya 2wei, and Fate/Kaleid liner Prisma Illya 3rei, a two-volume Light Novel series as well as a 10-episode anime adaptation.
