Takeru "T.K." Takaishi is a character from Digimon (short for Digital Monsters), a Japanese media franchise by Bandai encompassing virtual pet toys, anime, manga, video games, films, and a trading card game. Matt is one the main characters of the TV anime series Digimon Adventure and the six-part Digimon film series, Digimon Adventure tri. He is one of the eight DigiDestined in Digimon Adventure, partnered with Patamon, the Mammal Digimon. T.K. is voiced by Hiroko Konishi in the Digimon Adventures with Wendee Lee lending her voice for the English dub.

Takeru "T.K." Takaishi is one of the main characters of Digimon Adventure, Digimon Adventure 02 and Digimon Adventure tri. T.K. is a very cheerful and affable boy who hates conflict. While he was a child T.K. was somewhat naive and a bit of a crybaby, but as a preteen T.K. is far more mature and resourceful than his peers due to his experiences in the Digital World. T.K. is partnered with the Patamon, who transforms into the Champion-level Digimon Angemon when the DigiDestined are in trouble.

T.K. is the younger brother of Yamato "Matt" Ishida", whom he lives separately from due to their parents' divorce. Initially, Matt is overly protective of T.K. who can't see that sometimes he is coddling his brother. As the story progresses, Matt begins to appreciate T.K.'s ability and gives him the independence he craves. As one of the youngest members of the DigiDestined in Digimon Adventure, the other kids in the group dote of T.K. and always make sure he stays out of trouble.

In the Japanese version of the anime, T.K. is known as Takeru Takaishi. T.K. has a French grandfather, meaning him and his brother Matt have at least 1/4 French ancestry. Matt is the bearer of the Crest of Hope.
