![]() An auction is a process of buying and selling goods or services by offering them up for bid, taking bids, and then selling the item to the highest bidder. ![]() Searching for items. The first thing you should do if you want to participate in an auction is to find the item using the category trees in Yahoo® JAPAN, but this is a time intensive method, therefore we have translated our own category list and made it available for you, this is what it looks like ![]() If the item you are looking for does not require Japanese characters such a phone model, you can just type the item's model into the search box in Yahoo® JAPAN as seen below: ![]() Can't read written in Japanese? No problem! We've made it easy for you by providing you with our “Find it for me” service; this is a free service available to our members. Tell us what you are looking for by typing in the item's description, name, and product model or just about anything that will identify the item and we will find it for you within 1 business day. ![]() After finding the item you would like to bid on please be sure to review the descriptions carefully, this will increase your winning chances and help you save some money at the same time here's what it looks like;
There are seven major key points you should be aware of: 1. The Buy it now price: Buy It Now is the simplest way to buy. It allows you to buy an item when you want it, at a known set price. When you bid the Buy it now price, you automatically buy the item and there is no need for further bidding. This type of bidding closes once a person has placed their Buy it now bid. Helpful hint: If there isn’t a very big difference between the Current bid price and Buy it now price, it might be better to Bid at the Buy it now price to get the item without paying too much at auction. 2. The feedback of the seller: It has been said that the sellers of Japan are very trustworthy, but there may be still some fraud activities. So please don’t forget to check the seller’s feedback before you place a bid. Helpful hint: The rating system for Yahoo® JAPAN auction is from 0~7 (0= bad and 7 = Excellent) 3. Store sellers: There are sellers that are selling as a store. It might be more credible to buy from these store sellers instead of the public sellers. Helpful hint: These store sellers will handle your orders very fast to increase their good feedbacks. 4. Free domestic delivery fee: There are many free domestic delivery auctions out there to make the auctions more attractive. Helpful hint: When you make a winning bid from these auctions be sure to give us the auction ID so that we can credit you the domestic delivery fee on “Charge 1”. 5.The same seller auctions: These are auctions where the seller has more than one item listed in Yahoo® JAPAN. Helpful hint: If you win multiple items from one of these seller's please be sure to let us know so that we can combine the domestic delivery and bank transfer fee, this will save you money as we only have to make one bank transfer as well as one SH charge. 6. There is no automatic extended time: When you are ready to place a bid, checks under the word 「注意」 to find the sentence「自動延長はありません。 」. If you see this sentence, it means that the close time of the auction will not be extended automatically. When you bid between 1 and 10 minutes before the auction closes, the close time won’t be extended for extra 10 minutes. (If you don’t find this sentence, it means that the close time will be extended for extra 10 minutes.) Helpful hint: For these kinds of auctions, it is better to watch till it closes but if you don’t have time please use our Sniper bid system which will automatically bid for you 5 minutes before the auction ends. 7. Auctions close before the expected close date: When you are ready to place a bid, check under the word 「注意」 to find the sentence 早期終了する場合があります。 Please note that this means the seller can close the auction anytime before the expected close date. This means that you negotiate a final bidding price, if the seller accepts your final winning price the seller will close the auction and no other bidders will be allow to bid against your bid. Helpful hint: Please let us know if you would like to make an offer to the Seller so that we may contact them directly. ![]() ![]() Now here is the rest of auction flow for your convenience, if you should have any questions feel free to contact us any time.
