We do not charge any commission fees for bids that have not won.
Cancellations, Claims, and Returns
We cannot accept cancellations, returns or claim requests after a bid has been placed. Please check the auction page thoroughly before placing your order. Check here for more details.
Combining Domestic Shipping and Bank Transfer Fees
We can combine domestic shipping together for auctions if the following conditions are met:
- Items must be won from the same seller
- Items must be won on the same day
- The seller agrees to combine shipping
- For Yahoo! Auctions, an auction won on the "same day" is not won between 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM (JST), but rather between 3:00 AM to 2:59 AM (JST) the following day.
- In addition, if some of items have been won from the same seller within our business hours, and some outside of business hours, we may not be able to combine shipping even if they are from same seller on the same day. If you wish to combine shipments for your items from Yahoo! Auctions, please inform us as soon as possible after winning the first item.
- The Yahoo! Auctions IDs we use are: fromjapanbidpro, fromjapancojp, fromjapanlimitedcom, fromjapanbidders, fromjapanbidding, shape_1215, yahuokusaikoh, yahuokulike, sun_shape_1229 and minute_9368. If a problem arises with a bidding ID due to Yahoo! Auctions system, the bidding ID has received negative feedbacks or another From Japan user is bidding under that ID, our real time bidding system will automatically switch to another ID to place the bid. In such cases, please note that items won from the same seller under different IDs cannot be combined even if won on the same day.
Using Coupons
If you wish to use a coupon that a seller is offering, please inform our customer service department with the coupon code and auction ID when purchasing. For discount tickets, points, coupons, etc. that are not codes, there are cases in which we may not be able to use them when making purchases on your behalf. Thank you for your understanding.
Convenience Store/Post Office Item Payment and Collection
For items that will need to be picked up or paid for at either a convenience store or post office, an additional 1,000 yen fee will be applied. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact us before bidding.
Purchasing Flammable and Explosive Materials
In accordance with the shipping restrictions of the Japan Post and FedEx, hazardous items such as explosives, corrosive or flammable materials cannot be sent outside of Japan. Please refrain from purchasing perfume, explosives, and other flammable items. For more information of items deemed dangerous, please refer here. In the case that such items are purchased through us, we will only able to ship them domestically. Otherwise, we will have to dispose of them for a disposal fee of at least 500 yen without compensation or refund on the purchase.
Purchasing Items Containing Lithium Batteries
Regarding the restriction of shipping lithium batteries to certain countries, in cases that the batteries are attached to the item or built-in, it may be possible to send the item overseas. However, this is limited to 4 battery cells, or 2 assembled batteries per package. For more details regarding this, please refer here.
The main countries for which shipping is possible: USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Austria, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Thailand, and Malaysia.
For all other countries, please contact us before placing an order or bidding on an item you are unsure of.
- When shipping lithium batteries, the batteries must be inside and connected to the device using it. As such, there are cases where we will have to open an item to confirm that this is done properly. If you do not wish for us to open your item, please contact us in advance.
- If you are purchasing an item containing a lithium battery through us, please email us with the order number so we can ensure proper shipment of the item. There are cases when a battery is not properly connected to an item and are returned to us. We are not responsible for lost time or delivery payments in such cases.
Purchasing Oversized Items
Depending on the size, shape, and quantity, a storage fee or special packaging fee may be applied. For items such as car doors, hoods, windshields, etc., please kindly contact us before ordering.
- For wheels that arrive at our distribution center with the tires still attached, we can only ship them using FedEx.
- Oversized items usually can only be shipped using FedEx. Depending on the country, there are cases where the shipping fee is quite expensive using this method. As such, we kindly recommend that you please confirm shipping costs with us if you plan on using FedEx.
Items classified as "Oversized":
- Weight: Above 30kg
- Size: Items longer than 150cm or items which combined [length + (width and height) x 2] total over 300 cm.
Domestic Japanese Shipping
For shipping an item from our distribution center to a Japanese address, an 8% shipping and handling fee will be applied to the purchase. We do not offer a service to directly ship items from sellers to a Japanese address.
Purchasing Intangible Items
Intangible items such as Web Money, Electronic Tickets, Digital Tickets, etc. can only be sent digitally for customers who have paid using FJ Points. An additional 8% handling fee of your total payment will be applied for the purchase of such items.
Fraudulent Transactions, Incomplete Shipments, Seller Bankruptcy
In cases of fraudulent transactions, or in which an item does not reach us, we not liable for the loss. This also applies for cases in which a seller does not ship the item for any reason or a store becomes bankrupt. There will be no commission fee charged to the purchase, however the buyer will be responsible for paying the total cost to the seller and system usage fee (5%).
